For Shōei, the new moon is a special entity. This is because he believes that there is no relative distinction between artificial and natural objects, and that technology is also a part of nature. Humans are products of nature, and the elements that make up artificial objects also exist in nature.

On the other hand, people are more likely to notice a full moon and less likely to notice a new moon. Therefore, he creates LED sculptures and exhibits them at various solo and group shows on the day of the new moon. This is an attempt to visualize the invisible and to visually represent the time of darkness that has become invisible in urban areas.

松田にとって、新月は特別な存在です。なぜなら、彼は人工物と自然物を相対的に考えず、技術も自然の一部だと信じているからです。人間は自然の産物であり、人工物を構成する要素も自然に存在します。

一方で、人々は満月には気づきますが、新月には気づきにくいということもあります。そこで、彼はLEDの彫刻を制作し、新月の日に様々な個展や企画展で展示しています。これは見えないものを可視化する試みであり、都市で見ることができなくなった暗闇の時間を視覚的に表現するものです。
